15. A Fairy Tale Image
World of Warcraft is often described as cartoony and looking a bit, well, fairy tale-ish. Take a screen shot that makes you think of a fairy tale – use Disney inspiration if you must! Feel free to edit this screenshot a bit to enhance the fairy tale feel, or just get super creative with that in-game camera!
There have been many adaptations over the years and thought to have originated somewhere in Europe sometime around the 14th Century. The most familiar version for me was the one written by The Brothers Grimm based on two retellings of the story and further revised in later editions.
The movie released in 2011 brings to life the latest adaptation of the story. It was a lot better than I expected. so I was eager to find a costume that would fit the bill in-game. I’m even inspired to do more fairy tale costumes and have three completed so far, including this one.
This also brings me to the end of my 15-day challenge. I must admit it was a lot of fun. Don’t be surprised if my posts slow down now… :P
Edit: recently posted on Kamalia’s blog, I thought this one was worth mentioning. Check it out :)

Now THAT is a fantastic shot!
Oh I love that shot! It even scares me sitting here in the real world!
Very impressive screen shot!!!!
Oh that is a REALLY GOOD Fairy tale image! It is the best one I’ve seen. Great work Cym!
This is perfect! This is the cleverest response to this part I’ve seen yet. Plus, the screenshot itself is perfectly framed. :)
Thanks all :D
Seems like I might have saved the best till last. I’ve been dying to post this one for over a week now and I would have taken more pieces off, like the bracers but my bag was full… I know, how unusual for me :P
Oh, wow, that is an amazing screen shot! Puts all of mine to shame. Why didn’t I comment on this before, bad Kam!
What a spectacular screenshot and the red hood perfect!! Great Job!!
Kam – Ah, no worries, better late than never :P
Starre – Thanks. I remember I was itching to post this as I had this post ready a few days before it was due to be posted. :)
