I think I’ve been guilty of misspelling your name once or twice. I’m also pretty sure I’d mispronounce it. That is unless it’s meant to be pronounced anything like the Welsh word “Cymru”.

When I started playing, I used the name Azilyn. Seemed Alliance enough :D When I went Horde, I named my DK, Azerrah. While I finally gave my alts differentiating names, my guild peeps still call me Az for short no matter what toon I’m on.

That said, when someone types Azz, yeah, I know what they are saying lol

Well now Smear is just going too far, lol! It’s interesting, I didn’t even think about hearing names out loud. I know when I think your name I pronounce it simree, or for short sim.

Considering some of the outlandish names we make for our characters it would be pretty funny to hear people try to pronounce them!
