Strong Traps

This won’t be news to a lot of people but for those who aren’t up to date with their Pet Battles info, we were supposed to have stronger traps after a period of time. During the beta, players were asking where their stronger traps were but after the latest batch of hotfixes, they can now been seen in-game.

Players are now able to obtain Pristine Pet Traps and Strong Pet Traps from the achievements Pro Pet Crew and Going to Need More Traps. Considering you only needed 50 successful captures for the strong version, this has been a welcome addition indeed.

My captures started out well, the first three only missed once but then the number of failed captures started to increase to 4 or 5. Still it’s nice to see a stronger looking trap for those blues and greens you’ve been seeing during battles.

I finally got the strong trap last night. I spent ages trying to find the mummyfied hawk in the Plaguelands! I’m having a bit of a hard time deciding which pets to level, I keep changing for every other battle :D I’m only lvl 13 with my highest pet, and it seems like an infinite journey ahead, but your pet battle posts give me so much motivation to keep going! I enjoy reading them immensely.

At least you got pictures in yours! I feel bad that I didn’t get any pictures of the “old” trap to compare.
