I still remember the first time I saw King Mukla on Jaguero Isle. He was HUGE but after finding Princess Poobah chained nearby, memories of King Kong arose as well as the first Game and Watch I ever owned – Donkey Kong.
Since then, King Mukla’s card was introduced to the TCG so I hoped to own this baby one day. Over the last couple of months, I’ve seen Bananas pop up in the BMAH a couple of times but it usually sells for quite a high price compared to other sources so I’ve been patient enough to wait (even though I have enough gold).
After watching the price for some time, I took the plunge and finally bought him from the Auction House.
To celebrate, I wanted his first outing to be special so I took him back to see his father in Stranglethorn. I wanted to show King Mukla his son was okay but I wasn’t sure about how he’d react. Bananas, on the other hand, just ran off after seeing his father in the distance… kids!
As you can imagine, King Mukla was so enraged he started throwing barrels at us so I took Bananas a safe distance away.
He can now join his brother as I level him to 25.

I ended up getting mine on the BMAH too. The hubby keeps an eye on that thing for mounts and trading card items. Ive managed to pick u the fishing chair, eye of legion and imp in a ball there also.

Poor King Mukla, I think he’s grumpy because he’s a mere shadow of what he used to be, lol. Grats on Bananas!

Amazing job. I love the pets that pop up on the BMAH but they’re too far out of my price range :( I’ve never had much gold! Too bad the King was too focused on being mad!

Hey Cym. I still have the DK Game & Watch. Still play it occasionally :) I have two others but its the best.
I don’t blame you. I was curious to see how high the score went one afternoon but was disappointed to see it went back to zero after hitting 999. I promptly lost interest after that. I sold mine a few years ago.
