Wrathion’s latest task required me to kill the Thunder King and bring back his heart. I wasn’t quite expecting what he ended up doing with it but I was excited about the next part of the legendary chain. I had read about the four challenges that awaited players but I had not anticipated how rusty I was as Disc. I never thought I’d say this but it seems I’ve been spending far too much time DPSing these days with Brawlers, raiding, killing rares and questing.
This became obvious as I started my first attempt in the Temple of the Red Crane. It didn’t help that a couple of times Wrathion and/or Deathwing ended up glitching or just despawning. As a result, I ended up taking a break to get some dinner so I could come back later and try again. This seemed to help as I eventually got it.
Phew! Now I’m going to spend some more time healing so I can get a feel for the spec I’ve loved for so long.
I’m glad you all are doing these chains so I can read about all the stuff that Wrathion has you doing from the comfort of my chair, lol.
I know what you mean, I’ve been goofing off trying to dig up a Crawling Claw for so long an 85 could probably beat up Cat, she’s forgotten how to fight.
I’m just glad to have it done even if it wasn’t the best fight I’ve completed :P
Oh god! I will stop cursing the gods who aren’t giving me the quest items then :P

Hope you get the rest of your pieces soon. I’m sure you’ll be fine, the DPS one goes a lot quicker from what I’ve seen. Don’t worry, I will be discing it up more :)

Congratulations! I am still working on collecting those Secrets of the First Empire, but I’m planning to do the Red Crane challenge, too.

Really need to catch up with this quest, pet battling pretty much rules my wow time lol NEED my direhorn pet for pvp battles. MUST get back on track with Wrathion.
I know what you mean about the direhorn although I’m taking it kind of slow with my battles. I’m just glad I’m up to date with the legendary chain. I don’t know how people do it on multiple toons.
