Following my personal challenge of only using the armed and dangerous series for Jstmel’s ROYGBIV challenge, here’s my submission for May. To be honest, I wasn’t really looking forward to this month since it’s the one I like the least but it happens to be the only green option so I didn’t have much choice. At the same time, it’s probably the only attempt I’ll make so for that reason, I’m glad it’s done.
Pieces used: Sylvan Crown, Gladiator’s Satin Mantle, Robes of Insight, Gladiator’s Satin Gloves, Native Pants, Silksand Girdle, Faux Warlock Slippers, Serpentcrest Life-Staff
At first, I found it quite difficult to find the same shade of avocado but I think the pieces here are quite complementary.
Geb was the Egyptian god of the earth, often depicted with plants springing from his body so the staff turned out to be a nice addition.
Ooh, nice — I wouldn’t have thought of this at all for this robe. I tend to think of this robe as being more yellow than green — the darker green of the gladiator accessory pieces really brings out the greenness of the robe. :D
Yep, it is on the borderline and I don’t think it will be considered green enough when compared to the other submissions. I’m still glad I had a reason to use it though. :)
