Long after the early mornings of waking up at 4 or 6 am on Khadgar just to complete the fishing tournament with no luck. However, when I moved to Dath’remar, it only took a few short weeks before I FINALLY managed to get this title.

Here’s how it happened…

After several people started fishing my holes I still refused to do the same as I knew it would waste precious time just to fish maybe one of the right kind of contest fish. I slowly worked my way back to BB crossing one band of water. I was down to 34 Speckled Tastyfish and saw 2 pools really close together so I went for it knowing I might just have it in the bag. While this was going on I had one thought going through my head. Should I mount from Pretty Boy Duncan’s spot or hearth? As I made it to the magic number and still no winner announcement, I activated my hearth and ran. As I peeped around the corner of the inn, I saw no player even near the announcer. I knew he would have 2 rewards to choose from so I decided to go with the fish trinket a few minutes earlier. So there I was handing in my prized Speckled Tastyfish and accepting my reward. A couple of seconds later I saw the double achievement while another player ran up to hand in their fish. By that stage, my heart was still pounding and slightly stunned as I couldn’t believe I had finally done it!
