Pepe continues to be a popular addition ever since his first appearance in Warlords of Draenor. He’s been the object of several achievements, costumes and toys to date. Here are all the places you can find him in-game.
Pepe visits the Garrison
Level 1: In the tree to the east of your Garrison behind the fortification (outside the wall).
Level 2: Large tree behind the flightpath and to the left (looking towards hall) of your town hall.
Level 3: In a tree, directly outside your Town Hall (see image).
Level 1: In the tree to the left of the tent (looking towards tent) with your command table in it.
Level 2: In the tree directly behind the flight path.
Level 3: In the tree between Large Plot 1 and Medium Plot 2 (two northernmost large and medium buildings to the right of your Town Hall if you are looking at it).
Clicking Pepe gives you a buff which allows him to sit on your head for one hour.
What A Strange, Interdimensional Trip It’s Been – Defeat a combination of 28 Draenor dungeon, raid and world bosses accompanied by Pepe without dying. Rewards the Trans-Dimensional Bird Whistle. (see video) If you enjoy fishing, there’s also the Crate of Bobbers. you can fish up from Legion zones.
I Found Pepe
Pepe has been spotted in four different outfits around Draenor. Locate his Ninja, Viking, Pirate and Knight costumes to receive some fun in-game items and even an achievement. Each location has its own set of clues but if you only have a few mins to spare, check out the images and coordinates below. As usual, if you prefer a video, here’s a run-through starting from my garrison in Frostfire.
Viking Pepe – Nagrand (80.1, 50.4)
This Pepe will be easy for anyone to spot.
Viking Pepe always thought his dancing moves were hot.
Find him in the Ring of Trials checking out the moves of these two dancing goblins.
Knight Pepe – Talador (51.0, 63.3)
Sir Pepe is a knight, you see, but every warrior needs a rest.
You’ll find him half-asleep right now near a pile of amythest.
Head to the north side of Auchindoun (located between 12 – 1 o’clock on the map).
Pirate Pepe – Spires of Arak (54.1, 83.6)
Pirate Pepe flew down south to visit his feathered friends.
You’ll find him there relaxing in some arrakoa ru-ins.
The ruins are found in the southwestern end of the zone surrounded by a few hydras.
Ninja Pepe – Gorgrond (47.5, 41.3)
What killed these iron hordies, you thought you knew—but alas, you were wrong.
Turns out it was the stealthy Ninja Pepe all along.
Fly north from Breaker’s Crown (flight path) to find Rolkor (rare) who’s taken up residence in the small iron horde camp.
Note: you do need to click each one to get credit for the achievement. The best part is, he’ll appear on your head (for up to an hour) and you’ll receive an item that has a chance to dress Pepe up like a ninja, pirate, knight or viking when summoned.
For a touchable version, head to the Blizzard Store. He comes with little clips so you can attach him to your head or perhaps shoulder.
Traveller Pepe can appear in several locations around Dalaran (Legion):
sitting on the well outside the BS shop
on the stairs leading into the JC shop
on the corner bench inside the ENG shop
behind the counter inside Dalaran Center
near the flower vendor
inside the First Aid Shop
on top of a barrel inside The Legerdemain Lodge (behind Arille Azuregaze)
on top of the metal spiky fence at the pet cemetery
inside The Violet Gate, room on the right, sitting on a barrel
on the balcony of the Curiosities & Moore shop
upstairs rail in Legendary Leathers
right outside Magical Menagerie next to Mei Francis
inside The Hunter’s Reach
in the shelves in the back of The Agronomical Apothecary
In Legion, Demon Hunters can purchase an adorable Tiny Set of Warglaives from Falara Nightsong in the Demon Hunter class hall for 1,000 Order Resources once you’ve completed the Power Ascended achievement.
Battle for Azeroth
Three costumes were added – one for Horde, one for Alliance and the third in the alternate version of Mechagon.
A Frightening Friend
Scarecrow Pepe can be found by the outhouse in your level 3 Horde garrison or Alliance graveyard but only during the Hallow’s End event.
A Tiny Winter Hat brings festive Greatfather Pepe to Winter Veil (see video).
In Patch 9.1, four covenant-themed versions will be unlocked once you’ve reached level 56 renown in your campaign.
Which costume is your favourite? Personally, I’d like to see this one.
